Week 3 Blog Post
Before arriving to lab, we purchased the necessary breadboards, shift registers, and jumper cables for the project. These were bought before coming to lab with the hopes of them arriving soon so that we can begin building with whatever materials we have available. Once in lab, we purchased 150 MOSFET’s that may take several weeks to arrive. This is more MOSFET’s than we feel will be needed for the project, but we wanted to have several extra so that we are prepared if something unexpected happens.  Included at the end of the post is the data sheet for the specific type of MOSFET’s we are getting. The only things left to buy after this recent purchase are the LED’s. However, we have found LED’s that we think will be appropriate for the project, but we are waiting on a second opinion to make sure they will work.
Further research is also being found and summaries will be posted to the blog to allow readers to understand more about the project. This research will discuss why the small changes in light that will be made from this project are important.
If anything else comes up and we decide we need to buy anything else, we will make the purchases as necessary.
